Customer Service
Do you have a showroom I can visit?
Yes we do. Our showroom is based in Hurlford, just outside Kilmarnock and a short drive from the A77 leading between Prestwick and Glasgow. We have a wide range of displays showcasing some of our stunning items and we would love if you came and had a look around whilst talking to one of our dedicated team members. If you wish to visit us, we operate our showroom on an appointment basis only and you can book an appointment by clicking here
Can Crackin Events provide alcohol for my event?
Due to Scottish Licensing Laws, Crackin Events can not provide alcohol for events unless we apply for a temporary premises licence. Normally this would be done for venues where there is no premises licence granted by the local council. If you are holding an event in a venue that has no premises licence for the provision of alcohol, Crackin Events may be able to obtain a temporary licence for you. For more information please speak to one of our team.
I may need to cancel, what are my cancelation rights?
We understand that in some instances you may be required to cancel your hire agreement with Crackin Events and thats ok! All hire agreements are subject to a non-refundable deposit of £150 and is paid at the time of booking your event with us. This is detailed within our terms and conditions which are provided at the time of booking. If you cancel your agreement with less than 28 days to your event, a 50% cancelation charge will be applied to your account. For example if your original agreement total was for £690, a charge of £345 will be payable. This is payable as we may not be able to resell your date, which would constitute as a loss of revenue for our business.
When should I plan my hire for my event?
Our general rule of thumb is to plan your hire as early as possible. This is to ensure that we are able to provide our services on your required date. We do take short notice hire agreements, however these are generally 14 days prior to the event date. This is to allow us to ensure we have all the stock required prepared and ready to deliver to your event. If you do require one of our products for your event and it is short notice, please contact our friendly team as we may have availability and be able to support you.
Delivery
Do you deliver to my venue?
We primarily cover Scotland. However if your venue is outwith this, please call or email our team who will be more than happy to discuss this with you. Please note that any venue that has a travel time of more than two hours, we do charge an accommodation charge for our team members. This is due to the safety of our team and we do not expect them to travel back home late a night or early hours of the morning.
I live far away but really want to hire your services, what can I do?
When should I expect delivery of my items?
A member of Crackin Events will confirm exact delivery and collection times for your items when confirming your booking. We aim however to have items delivered and setup approximately 1 hour prior to the requested time. This allows us time to lay finishing touches and make your item perfect. I have guests who have allergies, what can I do?
At Crackin Events we do everything we can do to avoid foods where allergens exist and try to prevent any cross contamination. We can not provide certainties however that items are not produced in factories where allergens may be present. Your exact requirements will be discussed with you at the time of inquiry.
I have questions about your website, who can I contact?

What happens if something gets damaged during my rental?
We understand that accidents can happen and take this in to considaration when assessing damage to our equipment. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all items on hire from Crackin Events are used appropriately and in line with sole purpose of which they are intended to be used. In the unfortunate event that accidental damage occurs to our property, we reserve the right to issue an invoice for any replacement items or repairs required at cost price. Crackin Events complete an assessment of each item upon delivery and collection to the specified venue. In the event that damage is deemed deliberate by the customer or their guests, Crackin Events reserves the right to report the matter to the local policing authority. An invoice will be raised to repair or replace the damaged item or items at cost price.
My Hire
Can rentals be customised to my event theme?
All our items available for hire can be customised to particular colour themes. In order to reach the closest match we would ask for a sample picture so we can match our fabrics. We will try our upmost to match perfectly however Slight shade differences should be expected.

How do I pay my deposit?
We have a number of ways in which you can pay your deposit for your rental.
  • Pay over the phone by debit or credit card
  • Direct bank transfer (please contact one of our team for transfer details)
Your deposit must be made at time of booking with final balance due 28 days before event date.

Crackin Events is a family owned and run events business by Darren & Scott. 

We are an Ayrshire based Events business who primarily cover the Central Belt and South of Scotland, however we do offer our services to the full of Scotland.
